In most of the cases reported people don’t have any symptoms. If any of the symptoms occur to any one and they are perplexed, unsure of what is happening to them. Then they should immediately consult a doctor, who upon meeting them can provide them. Some of the most common symptoms that can occur in the earliest stage of kidney problems are :

* Changes in Urine
* Pain or Discomfort near the kidneys
* High blood pressure and swelling.
* Anemia
* Muscle Cramps
* Contraction of the calf muscles in the leg    
* Maddening Itching
* Skin rashes
* Loss of Appetite
* Nausea and Vomiting
* Confusion

Sometimes the patients complain of difficulty in sleeping and forgetfulness, which can lead to confusion and coma. These are certain things which can happen if proper attention is not taken at the time of onset of any problem.  Hence, if one suffering from any of the symptoms then they should openly discuss the problem with their general practitioner.
