Early Autism Symptoms, Symptoms of Autism

Autism is a development disorder found among children. There is no common pattern of symptoms. It varies greatly from person to person.

The symptoms are more psychological and emotional in nature. The child for initial few months will behave all the same but with age he will show signs. Usually the child remains aloof and creates his own world. He might not recognize and react in expected ways to familiar faces like that of parents. The child will take more than usual time to learn crawling, walking or toilet training.

Communication Skills might not develop and the child continues with facial expression. A definitive symptom of an autistics child is that he will not accept any kind of change. Change will irk the child and he becomes cranky and irritating.

The physical movements of the child will not be clear. He might peculiarly move his hand or walk differently.

An autistic child needs special care and concern. He learns slowly and differently.
