It is not necessary the chest pain is the first warning sign of heart attack as the symptoms may vary from individual to individual. Some of the possible symptoms can be shortness of breath, pain and discomfort in the chest, the chest pain radiating to jaw, neck or back, feeling week, lightheaded or sometimes faint and dizziness or numbness in the limbs. There is no second thought to it that these signs are sometimes mistaken as indigestion, heartburn, stress and so on and is ignored. The best thing would be to consult the doctor and find out the actual reason of the symptoms.
