Genital Herpes

The symptoms of Herpes may differ from person to person. In some cases it might not show any symptoms but still continue to transmit. Research shows that 80% of people do show early symptoms. Herpes is a virus which gets into the outer layer of skin and then starts to multiply. The first symptom therefore shows up on the skin.

  • The infected skin becomes red and sensitive.
  • Blisters start to occur-This is a classic symptom of genital herpes.There are clusters of small fluid-filled blisters that break, forming painful sores that crust and heal. This process can take several days.


  • There is burning sensation while urinating
  • The person suffers from common symptoms of Fever like headache, body pain and a regular temperature ranging from 101 to 103 degree Fahrenheit.
  • Lymph gland around the infected area is swollen
  • The skin becomes itchy. There is pain around the genital areas, inner thighs and buttocks.
  • In women, sores can erupt in the vaginal area, external genitals, buttocks, anus or cervix
