Check Out For Mouth Cancer Symptoms

Cancer is the most dreaded disease that can affect any part of the body. The worst part is most cancer types are detected when they have reached their advanced stage. One such cancer is the mouth cancer which also known as oral cancer and is as common as the cancer of lungs, breasts or cervix. There are several reasons that make people prone to mouth cancer. Known risk factors are the tobacco, alcohol and prolonged exposure to sun.

It is a painful disease as it affects the lips, tongue, cheeks and throat in a very short while. Check some of the visual symptoms of oral cancer that will help you to take medical assistance at an earliest if you are affected with it.

Examine your mouth and find out if there are any red, white or red and white patches of skin or lumps in your mouth. Check for the lump on the neck as well. If there are any sores that do not heal or change in size or appearance. There can be bleeding in your mouth with reason unknown for you.

There are certain symptoms which you can feel:

Those with mouth cancer feels constant pain or numbness in mouth and will have difficulty in swallowing. Also there would be difficulty in moving your tongue or jaw.
