Parkinson's disease is the disorder of central nervous system, this disease surfaces when the nerve cells or neuron in the area of the brain substantia nigra die or deteriorate. These neurons are known to produce dopamine a brain chemical which stops after their deterioration. Due to the deficiency of neurotransmitter dopamine the body loses control over the muscle movements.
Early signs of disease are mild and one cannot judge the impending danger until and unless the disease has progressed. The person suffering from this get tired soon, feel weak, shaky, speak too softly, and will have changes in their handwriting, the most significant change one can notice.
All these early signs will lead to more complicated episodes of resting tremors, muscle rigidity, impaired sense of balance, impaired speech, problem swallowing, bradykinesia (a slowing of physical movement), the persons face lacks expressions, failure to swing one arm when walking, flexion posture, falling easily, frozen painful shoulder, limping of one leg, and pain in limbs and neck.
The most common symptom is the tremor and this is what makes people to consult the doctor. In some cases the affected person finds difficulty in doing his daily chores. The only way to deal is to go for the prescribed medication to manage the symptoms.
