The Right Time To See A Doctor

It is the general tendency of one and all to first take the advice of the elders and friends if they are not feeling well. To some extent it is not wrong but we cannot deny that what they have experienced is not always the same you are going through. For minor ailments over the counter medicines can cure you. When it comes to visiting a doctor, for most it is a dilemma whether for particular problem they should go to the doctor or it would be something like wasting time with something that is trivial and shall get better by itself.

But as per the doctor's advice if any problem continues for more than 2 weeks then doctor's intervention is necessary. That can be persistent cough, fever or any sought of infection. Common ailments do not take more than 2 weeks to get cured but if it continues for long then you need more than over the counter medicines.

Those who keep themselves updated with the signs and symptoms of various disease know very well when to see a doctor. Those on the threshhold of 50 should make it a point to go for routine checkup. Woman who are are more vulnerable and highly suceptible to many disease after they cross their fifity should take regular appointment with their primary care doctor and gynecologist. They can actually follow the schedule given to them by the health care professional.
